Welcome to the Deep... Web
Sick Fish Studios is an indie game studio exploring the stranger side of the internet. We make games, uncover hidden gems, and give weird little projects a place to surface.
Somewhere beneath the surface, things get interesting.

Poke the fish. See what happens.
Time Shift Drifters
History took a wrong turn. You took everything that wasn't nailed down.
Dropped into a warped medieval world with nothing to your name? Sounds like a skill issue.
Scavenge weapons, scrap with rival drifters, survive the undead with your friends, and remember: friendship is temporary, but that rusty sword is yours.
Until somebody takes it.
- PvP brawls
- Co-op undead survival
- Scavenging and gear
- Character customization
Wishlist now. Explain your friendship losses later.
Fresh signals from the deep.
Gaming news, studio updates, dev logs, and interesting things bubbling up from the internet. If something worth talking about surfaces, you'll find it here.

Bum Fights is now Time Shift Drifters
We changed the name. The brawling survived.
Time Shift Drifters has a new identity, a Steam page, screenshots, and a gameplay trailer. The drifters are ready for their close-up.

Couple of Bums Battle It Out
An archaeological recording from before the rebrand. The pixels were rougher. The fights were still stupid.

Party punk time travelers here to bring you the sounds of tomorrow, today. The whole band is helping build Time Shift Drifters, too.

Game jams, experimental projects, tiny masterpieces, beautiful disasters, and games that probably shouldn't work but somehow do. We believe good games can come from anywhere, especially places nobody thought to look.

Love Bytes Game Jam
A month of games about love in every form: romantic, toxic, found family, self-destruction, and one very persistent ghost. Thirteen teams made something. We played the entries. Now it's your turn.

Your next favorite game might be hiding in a project somebody made in a month.
Making something strange? We want to see it.
Your game doesn't need a million players, a giant publisher, or a suspiciously expensive trailer. It needs something worth showing off.
Drop your project in our Discord showcase. We're always looking for interesting indie games, ambitious experiments, and developers doing things a little differently.
A small studio making a big splash.
What could possibly go wrong?
We're Sick Fish Studios, an indie game studio making games with personality and building a place for the people who love making them.
We're developing Time Shift Drifters, digging through the indie scene for things worth playing, and making room for developers who deserve a little more attention. We like games with character, creators with ideas, and projects that take a few risks.
We're not here to flood the internet with more noise. We're here to find the good stuff hiding underneath it.
The internet gets weirder down here.
Three patients, three experiments. Please don't tap on the glass.
Tap the glass fast to max the meter and breach containment. It drains when you stop. Feeding calms him down and fattens him up.
Hold the burner until it boils over, or drop in ice until he freezes solid. Left alone, he drifts back to room temperature.
Move your cursor in circles over the flask to stir it. On a phone, drag in circles. Stir fast enough and he gets seasick.
Get hooked.
Come hang out with the people making and playing weird games. No accounts, no spam, no fishing for your data.
There are worse places to spend time on the internet.
This is where the developers, players, game-jam enthusiasts, and other strange creatures gather. Get playtest news, talk shop, discover new projects, and show us what you've been working on.
